Spencer Wilson, working under the pseudonym Fourge, is a young American musician and producer and the newest member of the Brave Wave family. Our engineer, Marco Guardia, discovered his music on Spotify and was immediately taken by it. Spencer's production skills, his keen musical sensibilities, and his virtuoso synth work left a big impression on our team. We signed him for two solo albums almost immediately.

We're excited to bring you his debut album, Shifting Approximations of Solitude. It's a hypnotizing, deliberate and intricate ambient album, unlike anything you’ve heard from Brave Wave before. Spencer fuses beautiful harmonies, lush pads, pianos and experimental sounds with a rich and layered production style. The result is a 75-minute ambient album that’s as pretty as it is atmospheric and mysterious.

Every track is accompanied with suitable photography, taken by label director Mohammed Taher around Switzerland's vast Alpine highlands. Your album purchase comes with six 6K wallpapers, big enough for Apple's Pro Display XDR monitor of your dreams.

Fourge is an exciting new addition to the Brave Wave family. He is already working on his second solo album for Brave Wave, featuring collaborations with Stemage (of Metroid Metal) and Takahiro Izutani (Metal Gear Solid 4, Bayonetta).
