A necessidade de se organizarem cada vez mais eventos por e dedicados aos afrodescendentes em Portugal é de extrema importância para promover a inclusão, a valorização da cultura afrodescendente e combater o racismo estrutural ainda presente na sociedade. É exatamente sobre isso que se falou neste novo episódio do Matabicho.

Neusa Sousa, empreendedora e fundadora da plataforma CBA, que está prestes a organizar a sétima edição do seu encontro anual focado no empreendedorismo e empoderamento feminino, e Rahiz, artista e mentor, por trás da organização da primeira conferência afrocentrada em Lisboa, são os convidados especiais deste episódio.

Em conversa com a jornalista Marisa Rodrigues, Neusa e Rahiz falaram sobre a abordagem com possíveis investidores e patrocinadores, com passar das “conversas de bar para o escritório”, e sobretudo como reconhecem que estes eventos proporcionam um espaço de visibilidade e representatividade para a comunidade afrodescendente, permitindo que as suas vozes sejam ouvidas e as suas histórias sejam partilhadas. Joe Montaldo is Co-Founder, International Director, and Spokesperson for I.C.A.R. the International Community for Alien Research. (www.icar1.com) Originally affiliated with MUFON as an Investigator, Mr. Montaldo became disenchanted with the lack of information being shared with the general public. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1963, he attended area private schools before joining the U.S. Navy. While in the Navy, Joe earned three degrees in Advanced Electronics and Avionics after getting out of the navy Joe went on the get his bachelor's degree in Advanced Electronics and Avionics. In April of 2002, Mr. Montaldo began hosting the Wake Up USA a UFO Study talk show. He is now host of the new radio program, "UFO Undercover". UFO Undercover is an Internet talk show that allows the host and his guest to interact and answer questions with the virtual audience thru the Internet and by telephone via a toll free number.

 During his time as host for these radio programs, Joe has interviewed most of ufology’s personalities. In the process he has gained many friends in the community as well as the opportunity to work to ward his goal of ufologist and the public sharing information openly. Having been an investigator for almost 30 years, Joe Montaldo is extremely knowledgeable on UFOs, Alien Abductions, Star Children, Indigo Children, Milabs, Government Involvement, and all matters involved in Ufology.

Guest Bio:
Rick McCallum began his stunt career in 1982, performing a fight scene with Chuck Norris on the film Lone Wolf McQuade, and has more than 75 credits to his name. Rick has performed in numerous action and horror movies, and also has doubled for Daniel Baldwin, Barry Bostwick, Greg Evigan, Oliver Platt, Chris Noth, and many horror icons, including Kane Hodder, Ra Mihailoff and Sid Haig, as well as playing the monster in Deepstar Six, and the title character in the film Darkwolf.

Rick has trained actors and actresses in fights, falls, and weapons, including the Comic Con Star Wars Challenge winning short, Saber, which won Best Film and Best Action, and also coordinated the Walking Dead webisode Cold Storage, which won the Streamy Award.

Recently, he has worked on features in Australia, the Hamptons, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Louisiana. Rick has also acted in many films, including Naked Gun 33 and 1/3, Hatchet 2, where he played the silent hunter John, and recently in Clint Eastwood’s J Edgar. He has also stunt coordinated the Friday the 13th video game.

Rick, along with Kane Hodder, are the founders of the Hollywood Ghost Hunters.

Rick is also the author of his book “Ghosts Believe in Me” which won the 2020 Paranormal Awards Book of the Year..

Rick recently been seen on the PPV specials The Conjuring House and The Queen Mary Halloween Ghost Hunt, as well as the LA Police Museum ghost hunt. He recently ghost hunted the Old Phelps Dodge Hospital live feed from Ajo, Arizona.  Rick is well known for his hunts in Scotland, and he also is an honorary Lifetime member of Scottish Paranormal and is in their Hall of Fame.

"Carl L. Johnson has been investigating reports of strange phenomena for the past 50 years, dating to his association with noted ghost-hunting couple, Ed and Lorraine Warren. As members of Parapsychological Investigatory and Research Organization: R.I.R.O., a research team based at Rhode Island College in Providence, Carl and his identical twin brother Keith were called in to investigate the Perron family's situation in Harrisville, Rhode Island during August and September of 1973.
