e-verynight is a track created through a long game of musical telephone. The intention of the game is to compose a piece of music out of a series of short audio clips from a group of people. We formed a long chain of people, and created musical gestures based on the sound from the previous person in the chain, without having heard any of the other sounds. It is similar to exquisite corpse, but with sound.

Started and completed in one day for the 1 year anniversary of e-veryday, October 2022.

Your low-rent friends are getting trimmed, there’s no room for 1.5 quintillion sparse parameters in the datacube. Find an information cache and reorganize approximately 10^23 human intelligences of inert matter to keep their memories alive. Gradient descent at solar scale. The mantle roars to life.

Refractional anisotropy is a scalar value between zero and one that describes the degree of anisotropy of a diffusion process. A value of zero means that diffusion is isotropic, i.e. it is unrestricted (or equally restricted) in all directions. "We have tried to define in the case of Western music (although the other musical traditions confront an analogous problem, under different conditions, to which they find different solutions) a block of becoming at the level of expression, or a block of expression: this block of becoming rests on transversals that continually escape from the coordinates or punctual systems functioning as musical codes at a given moment. Why does the child die, or the bird fall as though pierced by an arrow? Because of the "danger" inherent in any line that escapes, in any line of flight or creative deterritorialization: the danger of veering toward destruction, toward abolition."
