This edition is a tale of two halves, coming out of the starting blocks with deep & rolling house laced with elements of jazz and soul. This sound is ever growing on us and you will find much more of this moving forward. Featured is a double header from Brooklyn Baby on GLBDOM, Dutch deep house talent Retromigration, Crackazat remixes Alma Negra on Heist, powerful vocal deep house on Freerange and some jazzy vocal fusion from Felipe Gordon & Cody Currie on Shall Not Fade!

The second half steps up the pace to bring you a more fundamental bumpy & 4/4 vibe with a brand new release from Saison and tracks from Tom Jay, Intr0beatz, Hurlee, Carlo, Laurence Guy & a gospel piano stomper from Floorplan to close! Labels featured include Classic Music Company, ESUOH, Peking House, Moment Cinetique & Aterral.

We have also took the opportunity to spin a disco infused house stomper from Jackmaster & Jasper James which is a free download made in a hotel room in Ibiza a few years back! I was introduced to this track by Mighty Mouse and Lord was I happy when I found it!

This week's Spin City Show that aired on 9th May 2021 on myhouseradio.fm saw the 2nd week of our Disco Walton takeover. Up this week saw the return of my boogie brother Ste Hendry aka @esteban2907 laying it down good and proper for the first hour with some impecable selections, and mixing to boot. This week’s special guest is Greg Cosford, a talented DJ from the UK. He first starting DJing in 2001, and was a quick learner, winning a DJ competition only a year later. He has played at numerous parties and events around London as well as having the opportunity the perform sets in Amsterdam and Australia.

More recently he became a resident DJ with Empty Plate Radio, an underground radio station based out of Miami that promotes music across a range of genres. His dancefloor-friendly mixes incorporate elements of funk, jazz, disco and house, and always keeps the feel good vibes alive!
