The remix record for Israel Vines' "And Now We Know Nothing" debut album, featuring Regis & Simon Shreeve doing a burning hot take as CUB, BMG & Erika delivering an outer space hypno drum groove as ECTOMORPH, Sean & Katie Rose O'Sullivan doing a deep techno take with wave influences and vocals as FURTHER REDUCTIONS, and a futuristic take from Standards & Practices and Common Name cofounder KEN MEIER, who also designed the whole triptych, including the iconic album cover. Since this horrendous mess began I have been keeping in touch with Lectromagnetique, our friend and valued member of this community. We have chatted several times a day about what is going on in his country - Ukraine.

Like his fellow citizens he is full of determination and frankly keeping a cool head where I am sure I would be breaking down.

Many of you will know his debut was on Bass Agenda Recordings back in 2015, and has released others on the label and elsewhere since.

He remains passionate about music, of course. And so, as a one off, Bass Agenda Recordings is making a brief appearance from its hiatus to release this EP.

Two killer tracks of dark, powerful Electro, in the style we have come to know, love , and expect from him.

This is about keeping on keeping on, not stopping, not giving the enemy the satisfaction of pausing passions, and doing what we in this community do best - create to cope and help others get through.

All money from the release will go to Ivan and his family. The label will make nothing from this.

Exactly one year after his 2021 release entitled 'The Electro Manifesto', DVS NME returns with a collection of new tracks that were produced between late 2021 and early 2022. This 25-track album is another thematic nod to class struggle with the hope to stir class consciousness in listeners. Every song title makes reference to some tenant of the destructive and unequal economic system called capitalism as well as its ever-looming shadow socialism. Even the album cover borrows inspiration from Soviet-era propaganda, re-adapting the artistic styles of many communist agitators. 

This album, as with the last, relies heavily on the sounds of classic Electro machines like Mono/Poly, MS-20, SH-101, Jupiter-8, Juno-106, SH-2, System 100, Juno 60, JX-3P, TB-303, Polysix, TR-606, OB-8, TR-808, ARP Odyssey, as well as some contemporary additions to his studio like Hydrasynth, System 8, MC-101, Prophet Rev2, Novation Peak, Minilogue, SE-02, and Microkorg.

DVS NME is the man behind the weekly radio show/daily blog called 'Dark Science Electro' and has been a dedicated contributor for the Electro community for the last 11 years. After the releases on Anti Gravity Device in 2015,  on Elektrotehnika and Infalux in 2017, and the last appearance on the VA "V8.0" released on Section 27 in 2021. He'll finally be back with a brand new album, which has an early days Detroit sound that promise to be a masterpiece.

Gladio Operations presents its sixth work, in which It returns to the format of various artists. In this third compilation tilted "The Analog Theory" we encounter various renowned producers from the electro scene in Europe.

This EP opens with the French producer Jauzas The Shining, with a fantastic track titled “Traveling Light” where we can hear his classic dark and hypnotic sound in all his productions.

Next up, we meet an old acquaintance of the label the Catalan producer Univac returns again showing off their forceful and aggressive rhythms, entering once again into more industrial territories.

Side B takes off with an exquisite cut by Lloyd Stellar tilted “Re-Entering Earth’s Atmosphere”. The Dutch artist who marks his debut in Gladio Operations, gifts us with an enveloping and very well molded track, with perfectly chosen melancholic harmonies.

German producer Martin Matiske who also debuts with Gladio Operations and has productions on prestigious labels such as Gigolo Records or Stilleben, is the chosen producer for the fourth track tilted “Telepathic Tuning”.

The EP closes with "Round Control" by the young and talented producer from Valencia, Uranio Empobrecido. This track is the most electronic on the EP and possesses the undeniable sound of Detroit, evident in each and every one of the sequences used.

After a short pause and the exploration of the vastness of underground Berlin and the beauty of bourgeois Paris, which inspired his album, Arpatronic returns with his recognizable Electro sound. The album delivers six Electro tracks full of dark elements and atmospheres, produced by the legendary 808 sound, the groovy bass of the Ms20 and the beautiful Jupiter 8 is all you need to know about this release.

This is another zombie that was rotting for 10 years on my drive. I changed the original pattern loop except the beat, extended what was there, added a lot of new stuff and made a tune out of it, and here we go. Hope you like it. :)

Centrifugal Force

Screeching sirens had woken her in the middle of the night, and now she sat perched at the window peering nosily out of her curtains. The street below had been cordoned off with thick tape and a white tent had been set up a little further down the path. She couldn't make out exactly what was going on amongst the sea of uniformed men and haze of blue and red flashing lights, but she knew it wasn't good. It wasn't good at all.

Athens-based producer Anatolian Weapons has been churning out the releases thick and fast, the next of which lands on Milanese imprint Marguerite Records. Marking the 9th release on the label, following a series of V/A releases and an instalment from Raw Ambassador and Antonio, the three originals on Blood On The Pavement are inspired by an imagined, distorted crime scene. Navigating industrial and EBM, from a trippy 303 workout to a stripped down version, backed up on the flip by two reworks from Nashville artist Daniel Holt.
