JAMES MCDOWELL began his songwriting career in 1982 writing gospel songs. After losing his vision in 2002, as well as losses in his family, JAMES' music began to transition to different themes. These days he writes hopeful, joyful songs including custom wedding music.  "People are just trying to find something in life to give them comfort, joy, happiness, and HOPE," JAMES says. "We need more positive messages in this world today! I want my music to promote a change for the better!"
