Recorded on my Boss digital 8 track with the cheesy pre-sets only this time completely sober.  I finally had the common sense to quit drinking - haven't had a drink since Sept. of 2009.  I was attempting to have most of the songs be electric guitar songs and hold off on the vocal effects.  So it's like dry toast with a heap of butter on one side.  Oh well.  I was also in to studying the history of the west since I moved back to Nebraska, hence songs like Railroad Ties and the 'album' title Stitches and Wires.  

Roughs #3 - Stitches and Wires (2009)

These are some songs I've written and recorded over the last ten years that somehow (sometimes on purpose but mostly by default) fall into the sinful songs category, not in the old Black Sabbath - Satan Worship thing the US government tried to use in the 80's to censor music, but rather an exploration into personal potentials for evil thoughts and acts.  This is how I deal with my own sense of evil: I write a song.

The sky burst open purple and red
