Zuzu (they/them)  is a gender- and genre-fluid artist, organizer, and somatic therapist.
Growing up within the rave cultures of Central Germany and Berlin, Zuzu started out on the dance floor – dancing, literally, to move through a lot. Moving on to more sober spaces and then Years later, with tons of embodied experience as a dancer, they began to DJ.
Zuzu’s Dance sets are shaped by a wide spectrum of sounds – from playful 90s and 2000s vibes and empowering hip-hop to groovy techno basslines and atmospheric contemporary soundscapes with soft instrumentals.
They have fallen in love with playing in sober or low-substance spaces, where dance, consent and connection take center stage – curating spaces of permission, presence, and embodied expression.
Zuzu is also a co-founder of Ecstatic Cuties e.V., a queer-centered body, art, and culture collective that hosts projects such as Juicy Lab and Somatic Cuties.
