To all our avid Twitter followers, and frequents of the #FF shoutouts, we have adorned a whole new meaning towards this overused Friday chant-off… Presenting #FreeFriday. Starting on Friday the 13th, we will be giving away a different track, possibly unreleased, rare, old, new or wherever in between, on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. As bit-rate quality seems to be a common concern for anything ‘given away’, all downloads will be offered in 320kbps. This means you’ll be able to bring something new to the dancefloor each weekend in full mp3 luxury.

Kicking off with a stomping, fan favorite mix of "Night Is On My Mind" by festival king Dillon Francis, Mechanical Remixes kicks into even higher gear with Nom De Strip's big room take on "Control," before pulling a moody left turn with Tchami's housey (dare we say jazzy!) version of "MYB," and closing out strong with a high-NRG remix of "Mechanical" by new young producer Values. After years of anticipation, Proxy at last presents his debut album, MUSIC FROM THE EASTBLOCK JUNGLES, to be released in two parts to showcase the prolific underground rave-czar's awe-inspiring body of work. Beloved by top DJs and stadium crowds the world over, the undisputed master of the "Turn It Up to 11" movement has created a work that harnesses the spirit of pure rave culture, with over 20 tracks that span and elevate countless genres without regard for trends or ephemeral influences.

MUSIC FROM THE EASTBLOCK JUNGLES is the product of an artist who forged a sound in complete isolation, with visa problems leading him to entrench himself in the middle of nowhere in his native Russia, continuing in the UK rave tradition of his Essex-spawned idols, The Prodigy. Years in the making, it features a massive stockpile of new material, as well as Proxy classics both renowned ("Raven") and unreleased ("Abyss").

PT.1 opens the siege with flag-bearing marches ("Raja Ganja"), imperial air-raid bangers ("Raw"), and unhinged breakbeat madness ("Junk"), Meanwhile, PT. 2 forces an unconditional surrender with a mix of acid ("Audio 15"), ambient ("Nanomed"), Eastern-flavored pop ("Coke"), and hip-hop inflected head-nodders ("9000"). The disparate pieces converge like enormous tectonics recombining into a monolithic nation-statement, one worthy of one of the most talented producers of his generation.

In the wake of the destruction caused by Proxy's mammoth double-album debut, MUSIC FROM THE EASTBLOCK JUNGLES, the Russian demiurge returns to scour the ruins for survivors with a cluster of B-side bunker-bangers. These tracks will be hauntingly familiar to the ruined cortexes of anyone who's ever lived through Proxy's live show, grantng fans their longtime wish of owning and coming to terms with the source of their neural trauma in digital form.

"What strikes small men as excess to me seems necessary. To crush them was not enough. I saw I needed to extinguish all hope," says Proxy, as he continues his onslaught of live dates around the world. "My challengers had already fallen. Now they have been erased."

Russian producer PROXY has made a name for himself over the last decade as a mysterious maestro comfortable with creating unusual and inexplicably extraordinary beats. His strangely spellbinding sound has commanded dance floors all over the world.

Proxy’s signature sound is as dark as it is beautiful. Without losing the modernity of his production, Proxy includes the raw sounds that inundated bass scene.
