Deonte Hall  an ex drug dealer with a message for the streets is definitely someone who can identify to the struggle of people who may have grew up in the streets and being involved in gang violence.
Over the years in Deontes hometown, Kalamazoo Michigan  Deonte had  witnessed so many lives of teens and people he had grew up with in his community lives had been taking due to the high volume gang related activity and violence. 

In July of 2010 Deonte had got caught up into alot of trouble with law enforcement that had caused him to be incarcerated for some time as he sat in a jail cell Deonte began to ponder about his life and his future and he wanted to make a positive change and do better for himself he just couldn't figure out where to start.

Later in April of 2011, Deonte had met a pastor who was out doing street ministry who had shared the gospel of JESUS CHRIST with him and Deonte had made a decision to accept JESUS as HIS personal Lord and Savior.
