An old biker tune we played at a send off, of an infamous #DFW biker. His name was Cotton and I mean, there were reps from every MCC in Texas. Rebel Riders, Lonestar Independents, Banditos, Booze Fighters, Cossasks, just to name a few. It was an "unforgettable" event, for many reasons. A massive heartfelt send off in 2001, I believe. Puncture Wounds - Nocturnal Renaissance

I wrote this song in prison at O.S.R. One of a handful of the songs written in my head, without a guitar, or any instrument on hand. A simple progression, enhanced with fretwork, and gumption. Boasting truly deep lyrics that leave no human untouched by their simple truth. The sound keeps drawing us into a harmonious storm then it all climaxes into a screaming bluesy guitar solo that captures the feel and emotion of the people around it. We are ultimately left wanting more.

But like the song says.

In the end I guess it's all the same,
We're all strung out, broke down, out here, in the rain.

A song I wrote after being trapped in Texas for so long, I just had to get back to Oklahoma. It took some good behavior but I did get back home. I've lived in Oklahoma ever since. 

I did grow up in prison, but for the record, I've NEVER considered prison home.

I think I was at Michael's Unit, in Tennessee Colony, Texas when I wrote these lyrics. Or maybe it was Eastham?
