After humans hurt our planet endlessly, the apocalypse arose at a point of no return. “BONVOYAGE” is an emotional love letter to Earth from DREAMCATCHER, expressing the realization that we need to spend some time apart from our home in order for Earth to heal.

This is the last installment of their Apocalypse trilogy (The first being “MAISON” and the second “VISION”), closing it with the chapter [From us]. The girl group goes back to its roots by bringing a unique prog-rock sound with a twist. A ballad to raise awareness about the consequences of pollution and climate change.

The music video for “BONVOYAGE” contrasts the beautiful nature of Earth and the apocalyptic hell humans created. The DREAMCATCHER goddesses find the core of the planet—a crystal—that will allow the planet to recover, but it needs an immense amount of natural power to begin the process. After not finding another way, the planet too dry and too hot to grow anything, Siyeon makes the choice to sacrifice herself and powers the core with her goddess energy. The storyline concludes in a bittersweet way with the healing of Earth and humans leaving this world.

“BONVOYAGE” is inspired by the rest-year system of national parks, where entries are prohibited for some time in order to protect the natural ecosystem.

“BONVOYAGE” is about nature, rest, and serialization. Those are the motives we focused on. You can see DREAMCATCHER leaving Earth. The song has the emotions of DREAMCATCHER’s needing to leave in order to love.
