Deep Within God's Heart

Deep within God's heart, a desire made known.
"It is not good for man to be alone
I will make him a helper as his counterpart."
To have a bride was His need and heart.

So God became a lowly man
Lived a life according to the Father's will
Wholly one with His heart and plan
Obedient to the Cross, His plan fulfilled

What life-releasing death!
Producing His Bride, the Church
What life-imparting resurrection!
A beautiful man in life and nature.

Christ loved the church
And gave Himself up for her
A love surpassing comprehend
Such mercy and grace to apprehend
With all of our hearts,
We love You, Lord Jesus.

Ephesians 5:26-27 That He might present the church to Himself glorious, not having spot or wrinkle or any such things, but that she would be holy and without blemish.
