Has the wine run dry so soon?
I have barely tasted it;

I have spent my final dime
On the thing I thought would last,
But as soon as I held it, it slipped away,

Vanity that's all.

The Spirit of the Prophet / Calling O Lord Jesus (Mashup)

I really enjoyed this section of verses in Acts where Paul is pouring out his heart to the elders in Ephesus. He relates how he was with them all the time, serving the Lord as a slave, preaching the gospel of the kingdom...testifying that he did not shrink back from declaring to them all the counsel of God. He admonishes them to take care of the flock, to shepherd the church of God. And just as he is about to leave them, never to see them again, he commits them to God. Paul truly was a pattern to us as one who was faithful to the end and as one who loved the Lord and His church to the uttermost.
