Bio:
Born in Barcelona and moved to Bristol, Dubtime is a dj and producer who developed his style after he fell into Reggae and sub-genres like Dub and Ragga-Jungle. Since then he has been loyal to the Jamaican sounds.

As a producer, in the last few years he has managed to gain reputation in the international junglist scene with releases in top labels as Jungle Cakes, Dub Shotta, Serial Killaz, or South Yard, his co owned label, remixing tunes for big names as Dreadsquad, Jakes or General Degree, and placing his tunes in some of the best dj's playlists, as Benny Page or Run Tingz.
His style keeps always that Jamaican vibe using Reggae samples, vocals and fx in most of his tunes, either when he makes Ragga-Jungle or Drum'n'Bass.

His dj sets are known by quick mixes, double drops and an accurate selection which goes from the Reggae Roots anthems to the broken Ragga-Jungle & Drum'n'Bass beats. 

He has been playing all around Spain in some of the best clubs and festivals, and since he moved to Bristol in 2015, in some of the best reggae-jungle nights in the city and around.

From Jawad Alnasier to DRJ. This is the story of how a boy from the streets of Damascus, the desert of Dubai and the rain of the Netherlands, became the doctor of the dancefloor. All the places he grew up in impacted his taste in music and are a big influence on his style. He sees music as the bridge between the material and the spiritual, so while playing he creates a healing and hypnotic sound. Through music he felt like he could connect to himself and the world around him. This led him to start organising raves in his hometown Damascus, Syria. Even though this was a hard mission, he felt his calling was to bring techno and rave culture to this place so his community could also feel the healing powers of music. With booming bass lines, driving rhythms, dark atmospheres and a hint of psytrance he made the ground shake in Damascus. His events became a well known place for people to find community and friendship. This earthquake reached as far as the government building, which led to him being wanted for bringing techno to Syria. Still wanting to fight for music and freedom, he continued his journey and ended up in Arnhem, The Netherlands. From here he continues to expand his talent for making people move their body and shake their booty, but now focussing on producing his own music so that he can translate the journey he took through music.

• The Juicebox orientates itself around the darker sides of DnB, with releases from some heavy hitters making their way up the ranks. We also strive to give artists a platform for their music to be heard, therefore our sound is broad across all sub-genres.
