Synthesizer!!!!!!!!!

I did this on my Yamaha MSX computer-each sound,it`s length and tone,together with all other markings(ralls/accels etc)had to be put in individually-it was a long process! I linked the recording(via midi)to my Yamaha MC600 organ and at one point 4 tracks are playing simultaneously-as the recording was made on analogue tape-it was too big for the computer and had to be made/spliced together in 4 pieces-I hope you cannot hear the join! This recording uses almost all of the on-board sounds of the computer.

This work experiments and plays with the frequencies and notes of the tristan chord whilst a live performance of Wagner's prelude plays in the background.

'J.S Bach's prelude no.2. from the 12 little preludes.' Re-arranged by me for four synthesisers including what I describe as robotic cannons. Performed by Mickey Freq the rock'n roll robot 'synthesiser' .  Influenced by the 1968 electronic classical album 'Switched on Bach' by Wendy Carlos and vintage BBC radiophonic workshop experiments as seen on Tom Bakers Doctor Who.

This is an electronic reworking of Prokofiev's Dance of the Knights from Romeo and Juliet; done in the style of Isao Tomita, using only VST instruments and effects of my own creation and based on the arrangement used by Rob Hubbard in the soundtrack for the c64 game Sanxion.

Adam Berces - Morning Moog (Edvard Grieg)

Sir Edward William Elgar, 1st Baronet OM GCVO (2 June 1857 – 23 February 1934) was an English composer, many of whose works have entered the British and international classical concert repertoire. Among his best-known compositions are orchestral works including the Enigma Variations, the Pomp and Circumstance Marches, concertos for violin and cello, and two symphonies. He also composed choral works, including The Dream of Gerontius, chamber music and songs. He was appointed Master of the King's Musick in 1924.

My favourite piece that he composed is Nimrod and anybody who loves beautiful, emotional and stirring music will love this piece. I decided to create a new interpretation and please take a listen.

This is a Scarlatti keyboard sonata. I made the sound with a free VST synth called Regula. I think it has a classical tuning system applied. Valotti? Werckmeister? Who knows.
