ANTHONY ARYA, TAYLOR RAE & LINDSEY WALL  LIVE COVERS AT MICHAEL’S ON MAIN  REMASTERED


This extraordinary three-part-harmony music was performed on May Day, 2021, at Michael’s on Main, in Santa Cruz, CA, one of the first in person live performances after the West Coast lockdowns of the pandemic. It was first published in 2021 by Anthony Arya on Bandcamp, with my engineering. And Anthony recently gave me permission to remaster and republish it publicly for my listeners on SoundCloud. 

Anthony (anthonyjadearya), only 18 years old at the time of this performance, was, even then, an accomplished guitarist, and male vocalist (having started his career on The Voice, when he was just 14 years old), with original music and multiple albums. Taylor Rae (taylorraemusic) and Lindsay Wall (deadnettle.music) are also accomplished guitarists, songwriters, and vocalists, with multiple albums of original music under their belts. Though they were already friends, these three musicians were not together in a band, so rarely had an opportunity to play together, and though they may have gotten together for one or two rehearsals, much of what you hear on this album is spontaneous improvisation. The fact that this music came out so perfectly, the beautiful three-part-harmonies, the trading off on lines, the exact timing and delivery, with no flubs, is simply miraculous.
