We started out as a four piece: Sunny, playing the drums and also the founder member of the band, Sheehan, playing the Bass, and Mashrur writing the tunes, lyrics and vocal of the band. 

First of all, we started out as a rock project as each of us were having bands of our own... but after few jams, things really started to take off and we decided to take this project and turn it into a regular band... Sunny , our drummer named the band "PORAHO" it means - the next day/step or something to that effect.

Then we composed songs and Mashrur wrote the lyrics and tunes for it... within a month, we already had bunch of songs on our hands. So we decided to release some... Our first single was "shunnota" which was released in a Band compilation album... but due to lack of quality of recording the song didn't sound good.... but response was quite well....

The band had a break as most of the members were becoming busy with their personal and other matters in life... but then Mashrur and Shahed decided that they should continue as their songs had potential in them. We started working on our album in late 2010 and slowly finished the project on April 2011. After the release of our self titled debut album , Sunny had to leave the band due to personal problems. So, the band started again adding A.K. Rahul on drums , Reshad on bass and Pritom on guitars.

কিছু বিষাদগ্রস্ত দিন

আলো নেই, রোদ নেই, কিছু বিপন্ন বিস্ময়;
ক্ষমাহীন প্রান্তর জুড়ে আমাদের বেঁচে থাকা
