Description: This is the link for my song that I'm doing a podcast on for my Evolution of the Popular Song class!!

There is a clear verse/chorus structure, which is very reminiscent of pop music. I want to touch on how the form is very streamline and has stood the test of time - I would even go so far as to say it is the industry standard lyrical structure.

In the bridge, the drums go from following the 4/4 time signature, to creating more of a syncopated, tom heavy beat.

The harmonies in the chorus, along with the guitar part from the bridge coming in at the end again, make the last chorus sound really well rounded and it brings the song together completely. Reminiscent of Olivia Rodrigo a little bit... def an influence here!
