Originally a microlabel founded by Cornelius Jakhelln, Inhuman Music was occupied by the mighty Sturmgeist in a coup on September 14th, 2010. Since then the rightful name of the organisation is the 3RD INHUMAN MUSIC REGIMENT BERLIN. 

In Sturmgeist's words: "Building a regiment of an art militia is both infinitely more challenging and rewarding than running a microlabel from behind a writing desk, with a box of cds as one's only companion. The transition from running a one-man company to mounting an organisation requires a huge mental shift. 

As Captain Stegger Ledaal, the founder of the Art Militia, writes in his manifesto: "In the struggle to define and operate in a separate territory, the militia takes itself all too seriously - volunteers are not actors, uniforms are more than mere appearance. The project can be described as a social sculpture in a very limited format, an attempt to transplant the mechanics of a very particular social realm into the world of art- juxtaposing elements generally considered mutually exclusive. In this impossible balancing act military method becomes a tool for making art, and esprit de corps an aesthetic goal." 

I would like to stress the argument about "esprit de corps", French for 'team spirit', as an aesthetic goal - music has for me always carried a sense of collectivity and maybe even fraternity: by playing in a band, for instance, you are by definition part of something greater than yourself. The military metaphors and graphics of the Art Militia integrate seamlessly with the traditional extreme metal garb. Consider what I wrote back in the microlabel days: 

"As you surely have noticed, my projects have largely been situated in the avantgarde section of extreme metal. None of my bands — Solefald, Sturmgeist, G.U.T. — have ever been mainstream. My projects are all eclectic and hence appeal to an advanced and experimental audience." That little piece of prose actually contains a military metaphor, namely "avantgarde". Military aesthetics and uniforms do in the context of the 3rd Regiment stand for ideals such as creativity, fraternity, loyalty and courage. 

In the future, books, records, videos, concerts, uniforms, t-shirts and merchandise will be produced under the aegis of the Art Militia's 3rd Berlin Regiment. 

The weapon of the 3rd Regiment, magisterially designed by Valnoir Mortasonge/Metastazis, may be used on record releases as a stamp of Art Militia approval - get in touch with me for more information if interested."

Growing up in north memphis, Chrome signed to “hypnotize minds” label then released “straight to the pros”. His versatile flow quickly captivated audiences and established his self in the music industry. Chrome then appeared on Three 6 Mafia 'Most Known Unknown" album and later followed up with multiple features on "Frayser Boy "Me Being Me" album he gain more traction featuring "Project Pat" on "Raised In The Projects" which took the streets of Memphis by surprise with his catchy flow and rap style. Chrome released his next single "So Fresh" which also blew the radio station's out the water in Memphis TN and surrounding areas. He continued to elevate with his next single "Classic Chick" that had the ladies all around the world feeling Classic. He later released his next single "I Smoke Weed" with "Crunchy Black" Three 6 Mafia Member. Chrome still making waves today in the music industry.

The Artist/Producer known as Lenny Sportshake was born "Vladimir Ernesto Trench" in the Parish of Portland in Jamaica. Lenny the eldest of five children was raised in the Parish of Saint Ann in the coastal town of Priory less than ten miles from Ocho Rios. Lenny attended the Columbus Preparatory School then went on to the Saint Ann's Bay Primary and later continued to York Castle High. While attending York Castle, Lenny acquired a taste for Dancehall/Reggae as he and his colleagues would exchange the latest Dancehall session tapes. This he would have to hide from his Parents because Dancehall was a bit of a taboo at that point in time. In school, Lenny and his friends would often have lyrical battles where he would rise victorious most times, though never taking his talent seriously he would write songs just for the fun of it .His friends however would persuade him to consider a career in music but because of his shyness and lack of self-confidence Lenny would not subscribe to such suggestions. in 1988 just after Hurricane Gilbert struck Jamaica, Lenny was given a break to operate his Cousin's sound system on week-ends. Lenny's involvement with Dancehall music took a higher route and he started his own collection of records which he would purchase with the money he earned from selecting and what he saved from his allowance. Lenny's collection was showcased when he appeared as a guest Selector on Irie F.M. for a 70's and 80's segment every other Sunday from 1994 - 2007. Lenny graduated from York Castle in 1992 and after a year he attended The Brown's Town Community College where he studied Appliance Servicing and Refrigeration. After graduating Community College in 1994, Lenny experienced "The Real World" and found it difficult to find employment. He would still write songs at his leisure and would still be rated by his peers but he finally came to realization when Lyrics Lee a friend of his started a personal campaign and decided to make Lenny a part of it. So they both went in search of recognition. This was to no avail as dissapointment was met in many occassions. Lenny did not give up hope however and shortly he was invited by "Big A" to appear on The Right Stuff Programme on Irie F.M. as a guest selector. Lenny and Big A became friends as Big A was impressed by the youngsters ability to precisely deliver music of past eras. This friendship opened doors for the DJ. In 1995 Lenny attended the CPTC where he obtained a certificate in sound recording and in 1997 the Power Stuff crew was formed with Lenny Sportshake, Big A, Mighty Mike and Chris Supreme. After a break from being an artist, in 2003 he recorded a song that earned some rotation on several local Radio stations. The title of the song was "Ting deh" on Cordel "Skatta" Burrell's Coolie Dance Rhythm Lenny also recorded "If a woman" for Drop di Bass Records also in 2003. Lenny since then has recorded a number of songs for various producers such as Sno Cone (Producer of Sean Paul's multi platinum hit "Temperature") & Stephen Mcgregor of Big Ship Productions. Lenny has also tried his luck at Musical Production with his own N-Snared lable working with the likes of Spragga Benz, Madd Anju & Bryan Art to name a few. Lenny has also written, co-written & co-produced with various Artiste & Producers, one such project is the Halfway - Tree Riddim on which he has a song Titled "Dem a Bleach" a colab with friend Bryan Art,this song shed's light on: Bleaching a dangerous urban trend that is being practiced by lot of young Jamaicans. "Dem a Bleach" to Lenny's & Bryan's delight was used as a theme for a programme which was aired on BBC. Dem a Bleach was also performed at Rebel Salute 2006 to a massive crowd of 14,000 patrons adding to Lenny's popularity. 
Lenny now resides in the the Washington DC area where he mainly does productions and records songs occasionally.

Bio: “Tonaight” is a Berlin based DJ and youngster producer with influences of music from all around the globe. In the beginning private gigs for friends were common, but now on he became a real talent in mixing beats of technoid sounds and played at many venues - not just in Germany.
To describe his very own style of a DJ set you need a little bit more imagination and it could be phrased by "deep minimal meets funky techno"! There is a techno bassline, some minimal melodies and a juicy clap – enough for Tonaight to get the floor burn.
Playing only solo was not enough for him. So in 2010 he formed up the DJ duo „Bee Haze“ with his friend Sven to get some experimental sounds and a mixture of techno and deep smooth bass in a set. In Summer 2012 „Bee Haze“ played festivals and clubgigs all over Germany and Europe.

Tonaight solo toured the asian continent for several gigs in 2011 and beginning of 2012. Dubai, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Mumbai, Delhi - just to name a few. In July 2012 "Tonaight" made his debut in Easterneurope Warsaw, Poland in 1500m2 club.
Own productions will hit the floor in 2013. So be prepared...

All in all, if STiiLBiRD had lived in the balmy days of the horse drawn wagons, he might have been a sculptor revelling in the plenty of reasons for life and travelling far and wide upon the back of a wild dappled grey horse, deciphering the bird song and writing novels in soliloquy while metering the road’s between his deal’s, meals and lovers. Singing his way across the land.

Steven: J-Watts (aka) STiiLBiRD is a SingerSongwriter of the old school. style writing original & melodic songs with heartfelt poignant lyrical content. For much of his formative life, Steve has performed as a Session Musician, playing Guitar,Bass, Dulcimer, Harmonica and Keyboards. He has toured with great Musicians and Bands with Major Record Deals!
steve has worked in some great UK Studios such as Crescent Studios, Battle Studios, Liverpool Rd studio, Abbey Rd etc STiiLBiRD now realises his creative musical output via a Mac Home Studio and the Internet.
