The Magic Movement kicks off 2022 with a collaborative EP from Argentina’s Guuse and Berlin's Magic Jams, entitled ‘If It Were For Us’ and featuring remixes from Benjamin Fröhlich, The Oddness and RSS Disco.

On this EP, Guuse, a multi-instrumentalist and composer based out of Buenos Aires, Argentina, teams up with Magic Jams, the new Disco leaning project of label head Noema, an artist living between Berlin and Istanbul who’s been DJing, producing and collecting music since 1997.

The title-track ‘If It Were For Us’ leads the release, a dreamlike journey fusing rich textures, psychedelic guitars, bubbling arpeggios and ethereal vocals, resulting in the perfect soundtrack for a California coastline cruise in a droptop Cadillac. Are you ready to ride?

8 years after the debut LP ROMANTIC JET DANCE on GOMMA records,
RODION is back with a new album, based on recordings of his real band.
GENERATOR has been recorded in Rome during summer 2013, 
at Telecinesound studios in Rome, after two years of rehearsal.

Most of the gear at Telecinesound dates back to the late 60ies/early 70ies,
including the sound engineer. 
A lot of great sounding italian music from the 70ies has been recorded in there.
We aimed at achieving a warm, raw and physical sound out of drums, percussions, bass guitar and synth takes, driven by somehow hippie vocal leads and harmonies.
All of the songs have been performed live while recording,
and only a bit of essential editing and layering has been later done in Berlin,
so to retain a human flow throughout the whole album.

Next up we have the wonderful new winter warmer from La Belle Records with El Buho's gorgeous remix of Akkan's 'Kai'. 
The Parisian, El Buho takes it down a notch from the hi octane psychedelia of the original to deliver a winter warmer which soothes those January blues and ignites the soul. A slow motion take on the original which could quite easily accompany a balearic sunset complete with waves and pads and the subtle hint of acid.

In February 2020, DJs, Producers and friends Johannes Klingebiel & Julian Stetter were invited to spend a month as artists in residence at Galera, a cultural centre in the heart of Mexico City. Whilst playing at festivals and clubs around the country, they spent time collaborating on new productions making full use of the centre’s well equipped studios. 

‘Galera EP’ pays homage to an eclectic focal point of music, culture and community. The release’s broad experimental reach and melancholic subtleties take influence from underground dance music, with a certain irregularity (all signals were recorded and tweaked in real time) building into the vivid and warm sound of the EP.

Cover artwork by London-based artist Mary Herbert. At the Centre pays tribute to the EP’s production and sound, continuing the artist’s ‘exploration of memory and sensation’ which shift ‘between the recognised and the unknown’.
