Foul Mouth Jerk is an independent hip-hop artist. Growing up in the late ’80s & early ’90s in northern New Jersey, he flourished in what is often referred to as the music’s golden age. He credits this period with shaping much of his rap style.

Keeping the company of addicts, sex workers, gutter punks, train hoppers, b-boys, graffiti writers and traveling musicians while frequently indulging in ill-advised amounts of LSD inspired his writing in strange and unique ways. It expanded his outlook and expression into something that speaks both to and for the disenfranchised of our culture as well as nurturing his cynical, tongue-in-cheek writing style.

As a member of hip-hop funk collective GFE, the Jerk has opened for Run-D.M.C. and Parliament Funkadelic as well as Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and Soundtribe Sector 9 as well as most of your heroes and favorite artists. He and TopR headlined such national tours as Alcoholics Unanimous and The Marathon of Shame. His 2008 single “Small Town USA” ft. Masta Ace  went to #2 on the CMJ college hip-hop charts, and his 2010 hit "Back Up On the Scene" ft. The Artifacts reached #3 on those same charts. 
 Jerk is currently the "old dude at the club", and enjoys making that shit look sexy while most of ya'll are making youth look boring.  He will drink you under the table all while he shoots, directs and edits his own videos and short films. In addition he hosts the #WorstCaseScenarioPodcast & is the vocalist for Evil Note Lab, which by the time you read this will have likely changed the face of music as we know it. And he pours the strongest drinks in NC, at a shit hole called the Burger Bar, in Asheville, which was voted the #1 dive bar in the state. Also he needs a sandwich and more money, so pull up. Coincidentally he is both the real one AND the funky feel one.
