After releasing on his label “Tears On Waves” 3 EPs, he came out with a new Album “Enchanted by The Muse” on Veyl Records in 2024.

Born and raised in Napoli, Italy, as a versatile live performer, singer and DJ, he ventures beyond the ordinary, blending experimentation, meticulous sound design, and rhythmic beats that echo the cutting-edge landscapes of electronic music. His musical expression is a vibrant fusion, marrying Industrial grit and evocative Body Music and Rock elements and unfolds as an independent variant, weaving influences of psychedelic and breakbeat into his sonic repertoire.

He began his artistic career in electronic music in his hometown, Naples, and with the collective "Wave In Transition" with which he had the opportunity to perform in various clubs of the Italian scene under his different aliases. During his last years in Naples, he undertook studies in Audio Engineering and Sound Design, and later collaborated with various broadcast and film companies for the creation of soundtracks and audio material of various kinds.

The project was born in late 2018 and had its debut with “Vast As Black Night” EP released on his label “Tears On Waves” and that quickly received important support from many artists of the scene.

In June 2019 he released his second and best-selling record "Unknown Bodies" whose homonymous track leaves a big mark and make his sound and textures better known. An erotic story based on touch, infernal gazes, yet divine that spread infamy and glory. A story of lost inhibitions and sensations. After a couple of months. He defines his sound with the EP "Phoebe's White Skin" in 2020, a year in which he will also dedicate himself to other projects of a more Punk/Rock nature and, as a solo artist, to the creation of new material belonging to a vast repertoire of 80-90s sounds, Raw, Cold Wave textures and grooves coming from the Body Music. The live performances, full of energy and organicity, implement all that he builds in the studio during the preparation of his tracks. He released his debut album on Veyl records in 2024. Singer in Supplant Band (Stoner Rock, Shoegaze, Alternative Rock) since 2024. 

Velvet May's music is a raw and unfiltered portrayal of the drama of his mind. There are no simplifications, everything is translated without glazing and nuances, but in respect of its true essence.
