October's edition of the 'Studio' Mix comes from a fairly new face to the ebloc fold, a guest for the mega reliable Mixing Mates night 'JON XVM' Jonny steps up with an hour of ethereal pumpers, driving breakbeat acid,  and enough elastic low end to keep those pegs moving. A nice progression felt throughout the 60 minutes, we're looking forward to seeing more of JON XVM in the future!

"I’m constantly on the hunt to find music, it’s been my soul mission to find old tracks that sound new. I find songs released in between 1990 & early 2000’s tend to have a more serious side to them, which I love, whereas tracks today seem to be more inviting and I absolutely love mixing this contrast in energy around. Nothing beats moments of euphoria quickly being plunging deep into the dark, hopefully you can see that in this mix"

Head honcho of @isolation.au steps in with an hour long sonic pursuit of progressive house. Some absolutely primo track selection and seamless mixing ties @telefixa ‘s mix together beautifully.

The household Naarm/Melbourne name has had his fair share of work within the industry and provides a fantastic contribution to our scene we know and love. Through this he has been able to grace stages across the biggest and best venues and festivals going around, From @beyondthevalleyfest to @a3festival and @xe54melb to @revolverupstairs . The list is never ending.

@telefixa’s work on @isolation.au has hosted some fantastic artist along the line of @aldonna__ , @anyoneknowsuki , @edenburnsoneism & @youdoghead . With no plans of slowing down soon, @isolation.au is sure to keep growing. Support small and support local!!!

Melbourne/Naarm based DJ/Producer & one half of @totalstation_ , @ex_port.aiff delivers a mouth watering hour of dub tech and early 2000s progressive house.

With rich basslines, leftfield stabs and staple sounds in these genres, @ex_port.aiff ties this mix together leaving a warm and dubby feel.

@ex_port.aiff helps contribute to the running of @totalstation_ , a video mix series showcasing underground, eclectic and Left field dance music. Through this, the duo behind the scenes have hosted some household names like @anyoneknowsuki & @wretla . They’re continuously providing a great platform for up and coming artists too.

@ex_port.aiff has recently been hitting the studio and has some great tracks in the works. Keep a keen eye out for some releases in the near future!!
