Yahawashi Baqarab (born Joshua Isaac) is a passionate American rapper, songwriter, poet, and entrepreneur from Columbus, OH, dedicated to inspiring and educating through his music. He began his musical journey at the young age of 12, influenced by artists like Lauryn Hill, Yasiin “Mos Def” Bey, and Nasir (Nas) Jones. His soulful lyricism addresses life’s struggles while reconnecting Blacks, Latinos, and Native Americans back to their ancient biblical heritage, true identity and holy principles. In addition to his artistry, Yahawashi actively engages in outreach, sharing messages of hope and spiritual awakening both domestically and internationally.
