  'The Mindsweep: Hospitalised' will be released on October 30th on Ambush Reality/Play It Again Sam, and is a collaboration between Enter Shikari and London-based Hospital Records, who since 1996 have become one of the world’s foremost labels in drum & bass music. 
 
‘The Mindsweep: Hospitalised’ sees every track on Enter Shikari’s UK Top Ten album ‘The Mindsweep’ - released in January this year - reimagined by some of the most respected and cutting edge artists working in d’n’b today; including the likes of Metrik, S.P.Y,  Danny Byrd, London Elektricity (a coup in itself, with L.E’s take on ‘Dear Future Historians’ being their first remix in nearly three years), Keeno and more.

In the wake of Chester Bennington’s untimely passing, fans and other musicians from every corner of the world are showcasing an outpour of love and support for the Linkin Park family and for Chester himself.

Dezmond Kills, a producer from Indonesia, is one of the many artists who set out to dedicate some of his time and skills to remember Chester. Recently, he released a brand new remix of “Numb”, one of the most popular and beloved songs in the Linkin Park catalog. The original version of the song was a great example of the band’s groundbreaking combination of rock, metal, punk, electronic music, pop and hip-hop. Few artists have been able to seamlessly combine music genres the way they did. The song became even bigger when the band collaborated with rapper Jay Z on a cool re-worked version of the song.
On this particular remix, Dezmond Kills set out to add a unique Drum & Bass twist to this song, re-inventing its groove and making for a truly unique feel. 

Musically, this remix has a really epic tone, immediately starting with some huge chords and a fat bass synth sounds that adds a lot of power to the lyrics.
The song later evolves in what can be define classic D&B with a 90s flavor. The groove is fast and eclectic, and the chopped-up melodic samples are a perfect fit with the tight bottom-end of the groove.
This remix allows the song to breath with more room, while remaining true to the great DnB aesthetics.

This remix remains true to the song’s original vibe, yet it adds a completely new and interesting rhythmic and melodic perspective.
