Born in 1985 as Jerrett Moore, "Statement", of Southern Oregon's conscious hip-hop group Only Natural, has been playing piano since the age of three and is now producing hip-hop/reggae music. Since his junior year in high school he has been Inspired by many outside sources from groups by the name of "Living Legends", "Guru", "Eyedea & Abilities", and "Atmosphere". He was the most inspired by a local Southern Oregon hip-hop crew by the name of "The Oneironauts". Developed from a mixture of smooth vibes and gritty tones, Statement has a great range of different styles of music. Straight from where the trees grow tall,and the valley flows with the most freshest air, This is music for your heart,soul,and mind to appreciate.....

Statement Haircut win the Half Man Half Biscuit memorial prize for having my favourite band name in this list. That aside, this London trio are unlikely to be compared to the lads who shook the Wirral. Their bio highlights their eclecticism, noting that they’re influenced by dance, post-punk, funk, dub, and pop.

This disparate mess of genres comes together nicely, because Statement Haircut are essentially a pop band, albeit one that sounds like it might have been left for too long in the tumble dryer. Fans of music that avoids the easy hook and reaches for something interesting will enjoy their recent singles – try Rügen as a starting point.

Since the first edition was held in 1999 (in an airplane hangar), Iceland Airwaves has become one of the premier annual showcases for new music – Icelandic and otherwise – in the world. It's made a heap of friends and won many fans along the way, and been lavished with praise pretty much everywhere they write about music. Some of the world's most exciting artists have performed there, too. Mp3pc is a North Philadelphia (Brewery Town) raised MC, Producer, Songwriter, and Engineer who's style is unparalleled by anyone on the Philly Rap Scene. Young, Witty, Lyrical, and intelligent is what best describe him. His Debut Mix-tape "The Basement Statement" was released June 25, 2011 and the Underground Hip Hop Community was for sure shaken. His second Mix-tape released exactly one year later "The Cook Out" showed his maturation as a lyricist as well as an engineer & producer. 

Mp3pc started doing music at the age of seven. While in the back seat of his father's car he would hear songs from The Notorious B.I.G, Temptations, and Curtis Mayfield banging from his dad's stereo giving him a chance to hear samples on the hip-hop records and then hearing where the music was originally from. Mp3pc's style is poetry in motion, unique rhyme patterns laced with a top notch delivery, rare vocal tone, and range that conveys almost any emotion. 

A few of his Influences include Mos Def, James Brown, Lauryn Hill, Nas and Tupac Shakur. Not limiting him to one genre of music, sighting funk & soul as his sub genres to hip hop.
