This song is first of all dedicated to my brother Eddie that experienced PTSD after operations in the Middle East. Secondly, my family who took the heat when the nightmares came, and have tried to help him during the last two decades.

Contribution in military operations abroad often feels necessary and right for soldiers, especially in cases where one can see progress and one feels that what one does counts.
After end of mission, soldiers struggle for motivation when they start duties that are trivial in their eyes, and the outcome of what they do does not necessarily count that much. In some cases, this is the reason why some people deploy again and again – in a search for something meaningful.
