Description: An unthreatening little piece in 3/4, nevertheless made a little eerie by the burbling synth under the lead. This is in fact one of the more pleasing tones that can be extracted from the Make Noise 0-Coast, but I’m not complaining. Its wilder sounds would, sadly, be completely out of place on SC, but I’m sure that they will find their way into a YT video in short order.

I like it wal a little short but sounds good.

Recorded in Coverdale when it was steadily raining, though the pic is of the Aysgarth Falls just before it absolutely hammered down. Two instances of Fab Filter’s ‘Timeless’ delay here, subtly on the Dreadbox Typhon’s bass sequence, big on the rather loose EP arpeggio, itself played by Ioniarics. Moral of the story? Always take an iPad and a synth when you go on holiday…

A Brief Interlude By The (No) Coast

Rory the Border Studios is located in the heart of rural Suffolk, UK, and produces hand-made guitars under the RtB brand, as well as a growing and diverse collection of (hopefully) original music. I had been uploading this to SC under the name Brownfield, but that was confusing an awful lot of people (three separate names?), so the artiste name is now simply the short form of the studio name, and also aligns with the YouTube channel name- to which I have recently started uploading again- ‘Wal RtB Studios’. 

Please note that any guitar that you hear on any of these tracks was made, on the premises, by me. Not that I’m showing off or anything...
