The synth is patched for 3 simultaneous timbres:
- Wavetable VCO + Chamberlin SVF
- Classical VCO + Ladder VCF
- SFZ player (piano samples)

All 3 timbres are processed by the internal effects, modulated echo delay followed by a reverb.

An original track composed and played with the great OctoCell software synthesizer.
OctoCell is used for bass, pads and keys.
Menanjhe, the name of the track, is coming from the old local language of french Aunis region, where this piece of music was composed.

This is a cover of the marvelous "Adagio in D minor" composed by John Murphy.
Fully played on Heritage Modular polyphonic synthesizer, in a single take: all sounds and effects are coming from the synth + final mastering.

This work was originally used as a test for evaluating the last software enhancements  with four simultaneous instruments :
- Arpeggio with classic sawtooth/ladder VCF chain
- Lead with wavetable/chamberlin SVF
- Piano generated by the first SFZ player module
- Strings generated by the second one

Arpeggio generated by a prototype of my Euclidean arpeggiator.

Challenge Mai 2025 - Modular Serendipity

Cette année, j'ai profité de quinze jours de vacances en famille dans le Cantal pour tenter un petit défi sur mon temps disponible : réaliser une petite "pièce musicale" courte (environ 5') avec :
- des sons enregistrés sur les lieux,
- la captation "musicale" d'une plante du jardin mis à disposition (biodata),
- deux synthétiseurs, programmés sur place...
Voici donc "SANTORI", composé et enregistré du 15 au 27 juillet 2025, à "La Buge" (15300).
Mixé en binaural, casque vivement recommandé pour une écoute optimale.

SANTORI

A new test with the latest developments in the NOISE/VCF and LFO modules of Heritage Modular polyphonic synth.
Created with four LFO modules that modulate various parameters: VCF frequency, resonance, noise color, and amplitude.
Plus some live manipulations on certain knobs.
At the output, the MULTI-FX module in Zita reverb mode.
Played on eight independent voices, so with 8x NOISE and 32x LFO.
It's a palindrome; I layered two tracks: the original and the reversed copy.
