I walked past a piece of marble tile in my house and I caught a glimpse for the first time of what looked like the side view (left side to be exact) of a man frozen in a running pose. That image immediately struck like "I know that feeling!" I don't know how long I stared at it, frozen myself, and then, I ran to the kitchen counter and grabbed my pen as the music and the words started to flow non-stop for several hours until I had three or four paper napkins filled with complete verses, choruses and notes. It was such a powerful and somewhat emotional experience receiving the sounds and words and story of the song you're about to hear. I've been that guy at times in my life. It's very painful and bleak. But it doesn't have to be that way. We won't often admit to this but usually we're the ones that put us there. And, we're the ones that can also set ourselves free from that marble slab. You deserve better.
