Experimenting with something different for a change, I brand myself as somewhat of a genre hopper yet most of what I've made lately has been industrial based so here's something left field that's Tom Wait inspired (instrumentally, I don't have his voice obviously).

I had a massive Tom Waits phase in the last year or so when I was feeling a bit down and out with everything going on so this track is inspired by that, and more specifically the "Blood Money" era of Tom Waits. "God's Away on Business" or "Starving in the Belly of a Whale" being the main the inspirations in particular.

Not sure if this'll be put out on Spotify and what have you, this was more of a "to see if I could" sort of song.

Something a little different, maybe, possibly... I don't know. Either way this was a fun one, a lot textures to work with and plenty of sound design that reflects that mountain of things I've had to deal with and the importance of having people with you through it all.

Eh, this is my way of putting emotion into my songs I guess... I don't know. To be honest with you, I'm fed up with things going wrong, it's a cliche thing people of my generation say but I'm just feeling f*cking "done" with it all, man...
