Title track 'Middle Kingdom' is the second collaboration between Aphid Moon and Atoned Splendor written in Atoned Splendor's studio in Beijing, China. The second track 'Jagannath' is the first in collaboration between Aphid Moon & Nirmal written in Nirmal's studio in Goa India. Both tracks have an intense energy which reflects the vibes and excitement felt while  Aphid Moon toured Asia at the beginning of 2013.

The 'Modified Brain Function EP' presents two new exciting artist collaborations with Aphid Moon debuting their first release on Aphid Records. 
The title track "Modified Brain Function" with Joe Studt of Hypnocoustics is an insistent warm bass driven, psychedelically evolving flapper, designed to tickle the innermost regions of your imagination. Electrodes in the brain? DIY kits will be available soon. 
Next up is 'Isotopic brain' a rasping bobble-bassed gurgle-fest with added sproing and splatter made with irrepressible young talent and regular London DJ Neill Moore. With this collaboration he makes his debut as artist/producer. The combination is a good one and amps up the energy one more level.

Basic Chemistry EP (Aphid Records)

From the the deepest, depths of two Goa studios in India some basic chemistry was created.

The title track 'Basic Chemistry'  is  the second collaboration between Aphid Moon & Nirmal again written in Nirmal Studio in Goa. It captures the full on party spirit of the season with a super chunky bass and slick acid grooves definitely one for hot sunny days and big sound systems.

Next up is 'Particle Grid' a groove driven, funky FM stomper, with more than a few helpings of psychedelic texture giving it light and shade. 
It is a collaboration between Aphid Moon and Olivier Abitbol and was written in Olivier's studio in Anjuna. 
You may know Olivier from one of his many psy-trance pseudonyms Vitart or Sacred Tree Portal. They teamed up after Jules overheard Olivier playing one of his favourite tracks from Koyote Records - 'Whirirain of Water'. This treasured favourite in Jules's 90's vinyl collection turned out to be one of Olivier's own creations written when he was part of the psy act  'Underhead'.
