Schon Anfang der 90er entdeckte Goaman die Techno-Szene – die Energie der Bässe faszinierte ihn. Im Jahre 1996 besuchte er sein erstes Goa-Open-Air, auf einem Berg in Bad Tölz. Die bunte Deko, der psychedelic Sound, die spaßige Stimmung, das war die Initialzündung.

In den Jahren 1997 bis 2001 organisierte er viele Goa-Partys in Nürnberg („Caitanya“-Reihe), Coburg (zusammen mit Pleasure Bush e.V.), Bamberg und anderen Locations in Franken. Mit dem Nürnberger Verein „Velque“ ergab sich dabei eine erfolgreiche Zusammenarbeit. Er bastelte Deko, erstellte die Flyer, betrieb eine Website mit einem Partyforum und schnell wuchs auch der Vorrat an entsprechender Musik. So begann Goaman auch selbst als DJ aufzulegen.
