Lester ‘Lester London’ Bridges Jr. is a recording artist, producer, and entrepreneur from Germantown, Philadelphia. His work spans music production, live performance, visual art, and cultural leadership. Known for both creative innovation and professional discipline, he has established a respected presence in contemporary music and beyond.

Lester’s artistic journey began early. At 10, he was DJing local events; by 11, he produced and wrote his first song—featuring his mother on the chorus. Encouraged at home, he received music equipment instead of toys, fueling his passion for beat-making and recording. By age 12, he had taught himself piano. While peers played games, Lester was arranging melodies and building the foundation for a career defined by excellence.

He struggled through high school, not from lack of ability but from being fully immersed in music. After attending Lincoln High School and graduating from Pennsauken High School, he made a name for himself in rap battles across Philadelphia and New Jersey, earning respect as a lyricist. His father served as his manager and greatest supporter until his passing when Lester was 19. That loss became a turning point—making success not just a dream, but a responsibility. Every performance became a step in fulfilling that promise.

From 2011 to 2017, Lester worked with Grammy-winning producer Jerry “Wonda” Duplessis, contributing to projects with artists including Joey Badass, Miguel, LL Cool J, Ryan Leslie, Ashanti, and Raekwon. These experiences sharpened his production skills across genres.

As a performer, Lester has appeared at Wawa’s Welcome America, Adult Swim’s Block Party, A3C Music Festival, BET’s Music Matters, and Foot Locker’s Homegrown Showcase. He has performed at SOB’s, Webster Hall, and B.B. King Blues Club, and opened for Jadakiss, Kendrick Lamar, Too Short, and Consequence. Beyond shared stages, he has headlined his own concerts and curated art exhibits. He’s also spoken at Penn State, Rutgers, and Hudson County College, inspiring future creatives.

In 2020, he founded Bridgeport Productions, a South Jersey-based studio and production company serving artists from across the U.S. In 2021, he was awarded the Curtis Mayfield Scholarship Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame and BMI.

His sync career began with the 2018 Foot Locker campaign “No Creases,” which launched a viral dance trend across TikTok and Instagram. In 2023, his track “Tunnel Vision” with Dot Cromwell and Too Many Zooz was featured by the Philadelphia Eagles and Apple Music’s NBA BASELINE playlist.

In 2024, his song “Wins” became a national sports anthem, featured on ESPN’s flagship shows, NBA Playoffs, UFC events, the NBA Lottery Draft, and the NCAA Lacrosse Draft, as well as ESPN’s On Point. His track “LEGEND” was used on Opening Night of Super Bowl LIX, and songs like “lilGOAT” and “Go For It” were promoted across NBA and NFL social platforms. His instrumentals were also placed in Netflix’s “Rhythm & Flow”, further showcasing his range as a composer.

Lester is also founder of Not For Ordinary Girls, a cultural brand empowering creatives globally, in partnership with Luc Belaire.

It has a Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, Travis Scott feel, and a Red Cam 8K video that paints a jaw dropping picture on the big screens.

The music video is often confused to be a feature film and has reached 115k views on all platforms in the first 3 weeks. The visual has already been recognized by Roc Nation newly signed artist @BBoyStance, Philadelphia rapper Cassidy, Philly DJ @DjCosmicKev, Director Benny Boom, Neo Soul Singer @Raheem_DeVaughn, Cinematic Records CEO @JohnnyShipes and many more.

 The music video was directed by LG herself along with Director “Dev Kamera”. The visual is powerful and emotional and moves the people with a feeling of empowerment and inspiration.
