Marty recorded this cover live with his band in Marty’s Living Room of his Irish Cottage in County Monaghan Ireland.
The song was recorded by complete chance when Marty and the Band where warming up and waiting on the kettle to boil before starting to practice some of Marty’s own original songs for an upcoming tour. 

Marty had wired all the mics down the hall to his studio and hit record before practice started and left it to chance to see what it captured during the practice session. 

It was only after sorting through hours of Audio combined with Music, Stories, Jokes and Craic that Marty took a shine to this random recording that just seemed to capture the magic of playing live. 

Six Days On The Road is a cover of a Country Rock song wrote by Earl Green and Carl Montgomery and made famous by Dave Dudley, telling a true story of life on the road, six days a week.

Marty could relate to this song more than most as he used to work full time as a truck driver and he is often still seen travelling in his R580 Scania, which is the setting for the Official Music Video. 

Marty decided he wanted people to really see the true story of life on the road, Marty decided to leave the studio and get back out on the road for 6 long days with his truck and Cameras to capture in Realtime footage about the life of a trucker travelling for 6 days on the road.

I opened the nearly 6 minute call to Ian, two and a half months after 9/11/01, connecting some synchronous dots to a local legend in all the nation's newspapers shortly after December 7, 1941. Then I close out the call noting 2 strangely synchronous rock and roll songs from 1986 & 1996. I've connected both like no other 2 in rock history, via multiple lines, paralleling prophetically to another news maker from August 31, 1997!

I doubt you heard my call into Ian hosting Coast to Coast AM on a Monday morning after 3:00 AM, but if you did hear it let me know.

@vicarioltd is a Tijuana-based record label curated by Soul of Hex aka Sébastien Vorhaus. Originally started in 2011 as a digital label, Vicario Musique made a successful transition into the vinyl world in 2015 with “Straight From The Wherehouse Vol.1”, featuring standout tracks from Gerardo himself in collaboration with Cromie and 4004, as well as Frits Wentink, Nachtbraker and Urulu. The follow-up release, “Straight From The Wherehouse Vol.2”, will be the second vinyl-only release from the label and will feature Moony Me, Roman Rauch, NY*AK and Mark Hand in addition to the label boss himself as Soul of Hex. These cuts are dedicated to the Tijuana dance club « Wherehouse » an after hours venue inspired on the original Warehouse of Chicago and Paradise Garage which showcases local and international talent, and already helded a Boiler Room session.

This leads us to today’s new addition in the Bolting Bits premiere series, with one of the tracks from the aforementioned EP. Roman Rauch’s “Eu4ia” is a fine specimen of sample-based house music. An MPC jam at its core, this tune has all of the elements required to keep feet moving on the dancefloor. Stuttering hi-hats and a sophisticated drum loop paired with a simple yet groovy bassline form the butt-wiggling nucleus of the song. Upbeat and twirly keyboard samples cycle over some indiscernible vocals with regular rhodes stabs before making way for a thin string line and atmospheric chords, all the while maintaining the same ‘eu4ic’ vibe.

Marty wrote this song in 2011 after been influenced by a photo of Brooklyn Bridge on the wall in his house. Where he then went to New York to shoot the video for it. This is  a rerecorded version which he has added the video to.
