1HEURE42 is an Ivorian DJ and producer whose performances radiate raw, contagious energy, transforming each appearance into a full-scale show.

Drawing from an eclectic musical background, he seamlessly blends Afro-electronic, bass music, trap, and R&B, creating intense and unpredictable sonic journeys.

First recognized for his explosive Boiler Room set in May 2023, he has since made his mark on major stages in Montpellier, Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Lisbon, Barcelona, and Abidjan, as well as festivals such as Garorock, Garosnow, Hypnotize, and Kolorz.

Wherever he plays, he leaves a lasting impression through his bold, hybrid style.

A monthly resident on Piñata Radio and a key member of Montpellier’s BASED MTP collective, he took a major step forward in 2023 by launching CHÔ!, his own party brand in collaboration with MENDI.

This strong artistic identity earned him a Rinse FM residency in 2024, cementing his status as a rising artist. With his distinctive sound and relentless stage presence, 1HEURE42 stands out as one of the most promising DJs in today’s Afro-electronic scene.

At first, Saraka played on the street, at the station, at the markets, here, there, under your balcony at night or so far away that people thought they disappeared. But suddenly they come back and there are four, five, seven of them and they say they played in the worst and best bars, for weddings, in Italian Gelateria, at Lisbon Castle, in squats of any kind, suspended in a Vagabond Tower, in Berlin techno clubs,...
In 6 years Saraka has grown from three to eight musicians, from covers to compositions, from acoustic-screaming to amplified-psychadelic, from the street to large stages, passing by 3 self-produced albums, many lives and many lives.
The result is today a music inspired by Afro-Latin grooves, mixing reverberant guitar riffs, warm-wet wind melodies and bass lines that sweat the trance and invite you to dance.
