Laura Benjing Fan (范本靖) is a queer Chinese-American musician from New Jersey. They first started on piano at age 4 but became more interested in other instruments - liuqin at age 7, then zhongruan and viola at age 9. As a part of the non-profit Music From China Youth Orchestra, Laura has been able to play around the United States and Asia. They are currently in their 6th semester at Berklee College of Music, double majoring in Film Scoring and Contemporary Writing & Production
