Sounds of Xmas is built on the holiday music I grew up with. My family always played Christmas songs all season, and that feeling stayed with me. When I began creating my own sound, I wanted to make a Christmas track that felt nostalgic but also represented my fusion style. My music blends RnB, trap soul, pop, rock, country, and decades of influence into one identity, so I approached this song the same way.

The writing concept came from songwriter Evan Kidd Bogart. In an interview he explained how he built Rihanna’s SOS using titles from 80s songs. That idea inspired the hidden Easter egg in this track. Every verse in Sounds of Christmas is built entirely from Christmas song titles, arranged so they rhyme and tell a new story. Most listeners will not notice the trick, but those who do will catch the puzzle inside the lyrics.

The production is a fusion of recreated stems from several Christmas classics. Sleigh Ride gave the bright bells and orchestral holiday energy. Jingle Bell Rock influenced the light guitar movement and the subtle rock shuffle. This Christmas added warm piano chords, soulful bass, and brass vibe from both the Donny Hathaway and Chris Brown versions. Merry Christmas Happy Holidays added 90s pop bounce, synth movement, and fun rhythm. Underneath the Tree brought modern pop rock drums and festive brightness. Mariah Carey added classic Christmas sparkle with sleigh bells, uplifting chords, and melodic lift. Boyz II Men’s Let It Snow shaped the emotional RnB tone and soft harmony feel. All of these influences were rebuilt through my MLS process and blended with trap soul drums, pads, bass, and guitar textures to create a new holiday sound.

These titles cover nearly seven decades of Christmas music and were reshaped into a new lyrical story.

Sounds of Christmas blends classic holiday energy with modern creativity. It uses the musical DNA of different genres and eras while creating an entirely new vibe. This track is a tribute to my family memories and a reflection of my fusion approach as an artist. Everything I love about music lives inside this one song.
