It does not explain the redness of the rose
Why It’s scents makes sense only to the nose
From whence it came. To where it goes.
There is a limit to what science knows
Why things rise. And why they pass.
The secrets held in a blade of grass
Sparkling with the morning dew.
Oh these things ring in my heart so true.
We can keep on guessing
But this life, I tell you, is a gift,
Is a blessing
