and Telli Prego is one the best and brightest.  An extraordinary performer and producer, with a versatile voice and natural musicality, he he has separated himself from the pack.  slumpers as half of The Blacksmiths, Telli continues to prove he can

Pop music needs characters. Big characters. And ones with a full face of slap at that.
In the ‘70s, Off-Broadway bequeathed us Divine and in the ‘80s, a creative club scene spawned Boy George. More recently Lady Gaga emerged butterfly-like from the NYC performance art world. So where better to find a new character for a new decade than London’s alternative cabaret and club scene.
Step forward Holestar; a former solider in the British Army turned gender-bending Drag Goddess - a woman dressing up as a man, dressing as a fabulous, flamboyant woman or as described by Time Out, 'Tranny with a Fanny'
As a solo performer, Holestar is well seasoned, performing and DJing across Europe including Glastonbury and Lovebox Festivals. Her musical inspiration covers underground disco, early house, ‘80s pop music and modern electro.
