This song started as many of our best do, with Chris coming up with it on his acoustic guitar. He shared it with the rest of us shortly after, and we were all very excited to tuck into it. 
  Ken was fist at the trough for this one, adding his jazzy, expressive drums. Josh came in as soon as he had a beat to work with, adding his signature fretless bass to the mix. Not long after that, JJ broke out the hauntingly melodic piano and Shine On You Crazy Diamond timbred synth you hear throughout. 
  Once it had a good structure to it, Mark came in and added the dynamic cello swells that open the song, some subtle strings, the melodic clarinet and flute, and a bit of synth pad near the end to spice up the soup a bit. He also had the great idea to ask Nyla to add some vocals, which she did in her typically dynamic and expressive way using her original lyrics. Last, but definitely not least, we convinced Stephen to add some of his perfectly mood-setting banjo. 
  Once it was all in the can, it actually sat for several months before being revived by Chris, who also did the production and mix, expertly, as always.
   This song is an example of Eclectic Collective coming together to bring another one of Chris' brilliant songs to life. You should check out his new albums on Spotify, which you can find by clicking the link next to his name in the credits. 
  Also, this is our first time collaborating with Nyla K. We wanted to find a way to include her talents on this one, and her vocals here are magical. You can hear a lot more of them on her page if you follow the link next to her name in the credits, too. We hope you enjoy listening to this song as much as we enjoyed creating it.

This song began with Ken's oldest son, Jack, who laid down the basic rhythmic beat. Ken took over after that with the rest of the beats, though. Jack just graduated high school last week, and he's into hip hop and trap music, so he wanted to share some of it with his musician father, who is very proud of him.

  Tez was first up on this one, which surprised me when I went back and checked the workflow. He added the perfectly placed guitar hits throughout. Josh was next up, using his synth to add the falling bass line. Last, but not least, Terry came aboard, adding the moody, melodic, high register synth.

  When it was all finished, we asked out resident pro mixer, Stephen, to mix it for us. 

  This song was in its current form for about the past eight months. It was originally part of a series of vehicles Eclectic Collective composed for The Mysterious Decibel. He got caught up in life, though, and had to abandon the project. So, we sat on it, asking all the rappers we know if they'd be interested in having a go with it, but no one bit. So, with Jack's recent graduation, Ken revived it as a celebratory song for his son. It could still use some vocals, too, so think of this as an open invitation to anyone who want to do the honors. 

  We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed making it.

Thoughts....
This is why I thought it was so important for Kamala to beat Orange Sith. America from my point of view and considering it's very short history has a lot of societal poison to transcend. Much of the xenophobic elements are being purposely reignited by the clown and Kamala for me could have helped empower women in America like never before. Because of the US's positive or negative influence around the world, any policy bullshit in my head could not have been the main decision. US politics is fucked until proportional representation is brought in and the electrical college and jerrymandering is got rid of. The system is designed to be corrupted by special interests like no other country on the planet. Now is the moment to really pay attention because the right wing have a chance, the funds and now that Orange Sith is removing the built in seperation of powers that have a clear line between law enforcement and politicians (this is GONE now... Not will go .. It's GONE...) America is dangerously close to an unremovable autocratic regime. It's hard to believe but it's unfolding before our very eyes and some of the 77 million people that got everyone here need to really go for a soul search in this pea heads opinion. We have Guinness though and popcorn so we'll watch from over here. I do love America though and hope this period of widespread ignorance will burn out soon and change for the better of everyone! 🫶🏿🪶🇺🇸🧬🎶🔆

I know I make fun of the founding father... Whatever but the fact is even though they were in the slave trade business and yes that's relative to the time... Their ethics and morals were unquestionably founded in unity more so then the current ego maniac that got voted in... On The Trail Of The Fairies

I 've been composing electronic music for more than 23 years but only started this new project 3 years ago, when the band in which I played bass splited.

 A large amount of the music I love was recorded in the 70's. Among these revered groups , Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, Ange or King Crimson stand out. Over the years, I've also been very fond of many diverse bands and songwriters (The Doors; The Beatles; Bowie; Neil Young; Deep Purple; Led Zep; Patti Smith; U2; The Police; Massive Attack; Chemical Brothers; Killing Joke; Marillion; Morphine; Nirvana; The Young Gods; Dominique A; Noir Désir, Conil, Aurora ...). 
More related to my own synth music production, one could find influences from Vangelis, Jarre, Björk, Oldfield, Numan, Kraftwerk, Schultze and other pioneers. Finally, I should mention the great soundtrack composers such as Ennio Morricone, Wendy Carlos or Hans Zimmer.
Above all those great musicians stands the beloved statue of Ludwig van Beethoven, the visionary, the prodigy, the most sensitive man.

My desire is to be a tiny part of the admirable family of human composers and musicians in order to explore the infinity of musical combinations that our mind offers... To achieve this goal, I will continue to mix my own set of diverse influences in my own imperfect human way, without surrendering to any type of AI composer. My approach questions the astonishing way in which skills, sensitivity, aesthetic and personal history provide the fuel and oxygen for our creativity, while chance, curiosity and current feelings provide the spark. What matters the most is the process, not the result, the “product”. 
I often start my new pieces with a vague idea of the genre and mood I want to explore. Then, by playing with one of my synths, I let the sound impose its nature and call for other sounds it wants to play with.  My role as a composer is like that of a sailor acting on his rudder and his sails. I am neither the wind nor the sea and I have no map, but my instinct should allow me to avoid the reefs and I will eventually land somewhere, most likely a strange and unexpected place.
My pieces will always reflect the result of hundreds of micro-choices I made, consciously or unconsciously, that's what makes it fun, right?
