We Wept is a hard rock band based out of Tacoma, Washington. Influences of the band can be traced back to legendary 90’s rock acts like Soundgarden, Alice in Chains and Nirvana. Comprised of singer and multi instrumentalist Joshua W. Turner as well as occasional guest musicians, We Wept strives to keep rock alive with big drums, huge guitars and unashamed guitar solos. Faith, hope, and often times the ugly truth is written all over We Wept’s songs. The bands hope is to reach the broken, the hurting and the lost and forgotten people and give them a voice through our songs. We are here to show that rock is not dead and that the lost and forgotten can join us as we raise our voices in faith, hope and against the darkness of this world.

Bursting onto the scene like a nail from a gun, Besieged formed in Birmingham (UK) in 2012 when long term metal writing partnership Barney (aka Aggressor) and Jez decided that the UK’s metal scene was long overdue for a relentless, visceral thrash assault.

Focusing on shackling speed, aggression, and intelligent lyrics to heaviness not seen this side of military hardware, new material was written in a matter of days. This material was honed, fine-tuned, forced into microphones, and the short but bloody war of production resulted in the release of 2012’s ‘Parasite God’ demo.

On the strength of this, the band recruited guitarist Dan Rose aka Foxhound (Anaal Nathrakh), drummer Ashley Guest (Benediction) and bassist Matt Ensor (Shebrew) with a view to bringing a fierce live show to life.

In 2014, the band started work on ‘Aggressor’ – an evolution of the sound birthed by its predecessor. ‘Aggressor’ also launched the band’s mascot character of the same name – a government super-soldier struggling to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. Beset by post-production delays, ‘Aggressor’ finally roared onto the scene in late 2015, accompanied by a campaign of live missions.

Keith and Kristyn Getty occupy a unique space in the world of music today as preeminent modern hymn writers. In re-inventing the traditional hymn form, they have created a distinguished catalogue of songs teaching Christian doctrine and crossing genres by connecting the world of traditional and classical composition with contemporary and globally-accessible melodies. 

These modern hymns are rooted in the traditions of Celtic and English hymnody handed down to the Northern Ireland-born couple and long-time writing partner, Stuart Townend. In Christ Alone (penned by Keith and Stuart, and recorded by Keith and Kristyn) echoes this heritage, holding the #1 position of most-frequently-sung in UK churches for the past 8 consecutive years. It was recently voted the #2 best-loved hymn of all time in the UK according to a BBC Songs of Praise national survey and among the top 5 hymns of all time by the UK Hymns Society. Another 50+ hymns from the Getty’s canon are noted in the top 2,000 of that same CCLI list for the UK.
