Gracing stages such as the legendary Middle East in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and opening up for grass-roots and Orlando-underground cornerstone, Solillaquists of Sound in Gainesville, Florida, El*A*Kwents has been the originator and facilitator of many notable enterprises such as the Last Days Project, Por Amor (Central Pennsylvania's first, outdoor Hip Hop festival in collaboration with Sky's the Limit Production), the worldwide, Hip Hop compilation series, Global Alliance of Insurgent Artists, and SpiritualHipHop.info.

It is all the culmination of a personal dilemma stemming from his youth; was it going to be conformity within the corporate world for material gains or noncompliance and art, accumulating spiritual merit and harmony between the tangible and intangible? Before Hip Hop struck El, it was a more-or-less unconscious decision to participate in the homogeneous, culture of Americanism; it was about sports, movies, television, school, and girls. At the age of 18, El*A*Kwents began reflecting back on his experiences of childhood realizing that adults did not have answers for his probing questions. He now understood that if he wanted to find the answers to his questions, he had to set out to rediscover self-evident truths through experience. This was the beginning of a journey of a man who saw desolation in the faces of his peers--adults, children, friends, family and strangers alike. It was a path folded inward toward the soul-of-man and away from the barren outer world of so-called civil society. Articulating thoughts, forming lyrics, and cooking up sounds of banging drums and eclectic instruments, was just what the doctor ordered.

The turn of the century, 1999 to be exact, marked his first trials of writing, lyricism, and poetry. By the year 2000, El*A*Kwents was dabbling with recording early attempts over other people's beats and beginning to compose his own, as well. After another year of experimenting and honing his craft he officially had his first experience with emceeing, performing at local open mics and shows. In the wake of his new passion he released a full-length, pressed album, with a high school acquaintance (Absolute Proof). By 2004, he debuted his first solo album, Lucid with the help of veteran engineer Rob Pride, who has worked with the legendary band Aerosmith and reggae artist Mighty Mystic. The rest of the first decade of the 21st century brought El*A*Kwents to Boston, Florida, and Pennsylvania, working with many independent artists, labels, venues, and entrepreneurs. In 2008 and 2010, he masterminded two EP's, REX-84 and Transformative Traits. A slew of collaborations, compilations, singles, and unreleased tracks were composed and released via the internet and DIY CD's during those interspersed years of the late 2000's. In 2015, the newest work from El*A*Kwents, A Human Becoming [LP] was independently released.  Thus, a Hip Hop creator was born and marches on, empowered with thought, spirit, speech, music and conscious-awareness of the here and now.

Meg are Lo-Fi Electro Indie Rock Pop from Kidderminster of all places. Meg were Rob Geraghty (guitar/vocals RIP :(  ) and Matt Pimm (keyboards/guitars), Tom Games (drums) and Allan Thombs (bass) – all improved and well seasoned from years of gigging. Meg are named after a much loved but somewhat irritating black cat. 

Meg’s sound has been described as “Sounding like a cross between Grandaddy and Pavement with analogue keyboards creating a Pac Man fighting Weezer over a Lo-Fi groove”. Meg draw on influences from a weird collection of bands ranging from the mainstream to the obscure and have fashioned a sound that Pete (from And What Will Be Left Of Them?) described in the NME as 'playing music at a slight tangent to the universe'. 

Meg were approached by Gavin Monaghan (John Peel Sessions/Idlewild/Mercury Rev/Babes In Toyland) of Magic Garden Studios to record their first demo after watching one of their legendary live shows. The Meg live experience has seen them play from Lancaster University, Aberystwyth University, Bristol and across to the Camden Underworld in London supporting Quasi, Jarcrew & Grandscope among others on the way. 

Meg have finished recording 2 EP’s the first of which You’re The Teacher was released at Meg’s 5th birthday party in late 2006. The title track was edited, mixed and mastered by Andy Taylor (Editors, King Adora, Miss Black America). The second EP, Lego Hair EP will be released later this year.

’Local cult favourites’ Will Munn

Andrea Angiolelli a.k.a “booPhases” or, a.k.a. diskonanzie_cogniteeba" or in his remixing works, “M_patcher” was borne in Bari, Italy. His way to approach the audio field mostly reflects all his travels and experience along his digital life, leaveingItaly @ the age of 17. In fact, many influences in music would guide booPhases to torcing, rewiring and sampling the surrounding. The music that he gathers has always some noisy, crackle ingredients but can change in structure. Normally, certain audio events would leave you hang up for something to happened. His composition are not just loops and not so static, pointing to a chaotic equilibrium. However, his tracks always present a compact groove formed by tight “side chains”. Each track borne tells all new story sometimes pleasant, sometimes not.

During pandemic 

Hello dear reader. I profundily hope you are doing well in this difficult times. I will never know why i was inspired to update my profile but i guess i owe it to myself. After Berlin, i went Barcelona, i set up my studio, had a second Job and enjoyed the mediterranean weather. All of the sudden i discover i was suffering of leukemia. My red and white cell were extremely unbalnced and realized why was suffering of many problems with my digestive system, food allergies, intolerances. I was sick and i was not trusting the official medical system. My father and uncles died of cancer helped by the very medical system that, now, wanted helped me. I chose holistic, i went organic,  i sold everything, i had to pay  therapies.... And yes i survive  with Reiki, qigong, taichi and Medical BiomagnetismTherapy. While i was healing i became an holistic therapist who uses energy to heal with the therapies mentioned above. But this is a whole an other topic. Different art, same energy.
Never stopped to love music....though . And never stopped to love in the first place. I did left the industry, the record label passakaglia, the studio. The many friends i knew that were into music. I left everything all of the sudden...... No explanation.My time was full-time healing.I am sure i could have manage it a lot better...... But i was sick and had just one thing in my mind. To live....
So now, i am full time therapist, at service of the others. Now more than ever humanity needs to heal. If you ever needs my services, i will be at your disposal. And yes..... To all producers out there: "make us dream.... Please" .

This studio recording of Hinei Ma Tov - How Good It Is (Hebrew and English Text: Psalm of David 133:1, Isaiah 2:4; Music by Michael Heimlich) is from the Greater Chicago Jewish Festival album Close Harmony Close Friends, which marked 20 years of Kol Sasson's spirit and passion for songs that capture prophetic messages of freedom, justice and peace.

Having studied piano since the age of 5, playing the traditional classical repertoire, Ben stopped playing aged 15. Teenage life and listening to heavy metal (AC/DC, Van Halen) was far more interesting. It was only a few years later after hearing Bruce Hornsby's 'The Way It Is' on the radio that Ben started playing and writing music again. 

Whilst completing a law degree in Bristol, UK, Ben took up piano study with gifted jazz pianist Dave Buxton (Andy Sheppard). It was Dave's creative and innovative approach to music and composition that inspired Ben to continue writing music, instead of just copying others. 

Having fallen in love with Holland, Ben was accepted to study composition and arranging at the Rotterdam Conservatory of Music, where he studied with renowned jazz composer Bob Brookmeyer (Bill Evans, Stan Getz). 

Although arranging for Big Band was a great learning experience, the songwriting didn't stop and during his study Ben won in UK magazine Sound on Sound the Best Demo award for 3 of his songs. 

The review stated : "This is a tape on which any of the songs could be a hit for an established artist"

After his study, Ben spent some time working as a freelance musician, producer and engineer and continued to write, record and mix his own songs. Having made friends with some of the best musicians in Holland, Ben learned a lot about the recording process, and the end results had a quality seldom encountered with such self-produced records.

For further inspiration and in order to gain a better insight into how to write better songs Ben travelled to songwriting city Nashville, USA, where he hooked up with songwriter Rob Crosby (Martina McBride, Ilse de Lange) who shared his thoughts on the craft of writing songs. Ben also met many record company executives and publishers who all expressed pleasant surprise at the quality of the his songs - although most felt that Ben's voice wasn't quite there yet if he was to compete with the best that Nashville had to offer - a point that Ben took to heart. 

In the years that followed, Ben worked hard on improving his singing voice and played in just about every pub and club that would have him. He released a few singles (under his own label) which were all well received by both press and radio. As part of the promotion Ben could often be heard playing his songs on local and national radio - always live on air - something that many artists prefer not to do ! 

In summing up his songs one newspaper review stated that Ben had 'managed to write songs that made you feel good, even when the subject matter dealt with life's more serious topics such as heartache and loss' - a sentiment that echoes Ben's positive outlook on life and one that is really necessary in the hard world of the music business ! 

In 2011 Ben took part in the now world famous 'Voice of Holland' TV Show & was one of the few candidates to have all 4 chairs turn round. Currently Ben can be found singing songs for various commercials, and he continues to write, sing and play whenever he can.
