For mix 19 we are ecstatic to introduce a world class producer and incredible DJ @siggatunez who has produced a bouncy, groovy, pure fire mix which will guarantee to make you throw some serious shapes! 

Siggatunez is a DJ and producer from Saxony/East Germany, currently residing in Berlin. He is the founder and owner of the Deephouse and Deep-Disco vinyl label Tieffrequent. Musically he is deeply rooted in the US-Golden Age Hip-Hop Aera of the 90's but also the „Motown“ and the East- German Funk- and Soul music. 

Mainly influenced by his younger brother he started producing beats and cuts out of dusty vinyl-records around 2000. In 2005 he moved to Frankfurt where he got in contact with electronic music and the local scene. With his friend „Le Rubrique“ he started the regular music House- and Techno-Event „Sucio“ at the legendary Café KOZ to give a stage for new but also well known artist. There he started Djing in 2008 and evolved a passion for vinylrecords and the whole record- shop-digger cosmos. 

In 2012 he moved to Berlin where he started his label. In 2018 he founded the Gwen Torino mixing studio where he offers audioservice for electronic music productions. Due to his love for funk and soul music he created the GOOEY Editz series in 2020 to bring back some forgotten diamonds back to light.

Widdox is first to release a mix on the newly formed series 'Nova Funk' 

Widdox is DJ based in Bristol, UK. From moving to the West country city, he discovered a new wave of disco edits, deep house and mixing in flavours of Jazz and Latin influenced grooves. 

He has been Djing at various bars for the last couple of years and runs a successful night called ‘Mommas Groove’ A collective of 4 established DJ's in their own right, bringing a ‘Glitterbox’ inspired uplifting party atmosphere designed to unite all ages, persuasions and walks of life on the dancefloor. This includes their legendary Day & Night Parties at 51's Stokes Croft. 

Always on the look for rare new sounds, he tries to create mixes and DJ sets that take the listener on a journey, incorporating laid back vibes to disco house stompers!

SoulSplendid is a dutch entrepreneur with a passion for deep and soulful music ranging from 50s Hardbop Jazz music to 80s Electro Funk and 90s Hip Hop to Deep House. 

He started a mix series on MIxcloud in 2015 that featured deep and dusty house music and disco edits. SoulSplendid occassionally teams up with dutch producer https://soundcloud.com/aventureux making disco edits. 

His main influences are Harry Wolfman, Moodyman, Theo Parrish, Cody Currie, Loz Goddard, Max Graef, Carlos, The Black Loops, Frits Wentink and MCDE.
