Walking through the mall, and seeing the aged,
Crumpled and trying to make it through the day,
trying to make it from A to B.
And here I am, healthy and able,

and there she was...

I see the look in her eyes, and it makes me high.
and I know that's she likes me, maybe ask her out for tea.

There's a need to change,
and if I don't, then it leaves me aimless.
To get it into a different groove.
Instead of thinking that I've got it all figured out.

Protocol by Gordon Lightfoot...This song has always made me appreciate
Bravery as a human quality, good over evil, etc....  The Lyrics are pure Pathos...Its is a very rare tune and should be more well known.  It is my all time favorite Gordon Lightfoot song that I remember from when I was a teenager.
