Born December 19, 2005, Chicago’s YBZ Vandr has already established himself as one of the city’s most promising hip-hop artists.  Since releasing his first single in 2019, he has consistently demonstrated talent well beyond his years, channeling the likes of Juice WRLD and Iann Dior, while establishing his own melodic, nostalgic style of rap.  Now, with the release of his most impressive music to date, he is poised to reach a national audience.

Local heroes Lil Noodle and Jesus Honcho were among the first to discover YBZ’s talent.  Their collaborations helped YBZ get a foot in the door, and set the stage for a steady stream of releases from the burgeoning rapper.  YBZ continued to gain momentum, attracting a dedicated viral following while exploring new styles and flows with every new track.
