This is a walking tour of East Lawrence, starting and ending at South Park, including trekking over to Burroughs Creek Trail. This is part of the Songs and Stories of East Lawrence Project. When I first heard '7 years' off of Charli XCX's groundbreaking album 'how i'm feeling now' I was IMMEDIATELY blow away from the opening vocals. I'm a huge sucker for crunchy vocal harmonies so when Charli released all of the stems for fans to remix I KNEW that I had to get in there and go absolutely NUTS!

I pumped up the vocals, especially the harmonies, added some extra harmonies via vocoder and gave the whole thing a 80s flare. I really wanted to create a giant lush soundscape so that the natural emotion of Charli's voice could really shine!
