@caye-20 is classically trained as a jazz musician and has bounced around from instrument to instrument, ultimately finding himself reflecting on the 2 he uses most now – his voice and the steel pan. Starting his career off producing EDM, it took Caye some time to find his confidence in his singing ability. He discovered the steel pan instrument when he was just 13, traveling to Trinidad Jamaica to learn the culture of the instrument from those who invented it and mastered its playing techniques. The artist writes “music is my life, my love, and my livelihood. I hope I’m lucky enough to be in a position where I can dedicate myself to it wholeheartedly for years to come.” I’d say the man is on a promising path, here’s his latest -- “Trust Fall.”
