We are excited to present the second release on our label, VA_RE_CORDS. This marks our first EP, and we're proud to showcase the talented Berlin-based artist CARLOS FRIDA. Titled Perception, the EP features three original tracks that highlight his unique sound, along with a remix by DANIEL MEISTER from Hungary. We hope you enjoy this immersive musical journey!

Frida Carlos began his musical journey at the age of five – today, he is an emerging DJ and producer who is making waves in Berlin’s club scene with his sensitive and finely tuned sound. Raised in a small town in the southwest of Germany and now based in Berlin, he found his way through various genres to electronic music. He has been producing music for over eight years, with his focus shifting clearly toward electronic sounds over the past two and a half years.
Shaped by nights at Sisyphos and inspired by the multilayered nature of Berlin’s club culture, Frida Carlos is developing a sound deeply rooted in minimal house, yet extending far beyond it. His productions and DJ sets blend elements of deep tech, Romanian minimal, and dub-like textures – carried by dreamy melodies that float between reality and memory. A subtly melancholic undertone runs through his sets, often placing dancefloors in a special state between movement and contemplation.
Since 2024, Frida Carlos has been releasing his own music – including on the Berlin-based label Berlin House Music – making a first, deliberately quiet yet powerful statement. No overhyped promises, no loud declarations – just honest music that resonates.

The London-via-Brooklyn host is a DJ, producer and co-owner of dance label Fortune Signal. London-based selector oh henry is the founder of the Club Citrus party series and hosts a monthly show on Bloop Radio. He’ll be bringing a delightful hour of groovy and chuggy blends from across the underground house spectrum. Curry kicks off the programme with selections of  smooth deep house tracks from past and present.
